Please be kind. First to yourself. No one is saved from a tension or difficulty free life. Its just some have learned to stay calm and centered through it all. Which means you can too. And it begins with self-love, self-nurturing, being kind.
Please be kind. To me. I had a really rough week. I can hold space for others like nobody’s business and remind themselves of their potential, perfection and beauty and this week, life got the best of me, all of me, and I feel depleted, doubt-filled and tired. Yes, I’m human too. Please be kind.
Please be kind. To your father, mother, husband, girlfriend, brother. The person you want more love from than anyone who doesn’t always know how to give it perfectly. And especially if they don’t know how to give it personally. Even if they don’t love you, love them, be kind.
Please be kind. To everyone, no matter how happy or sad, how tall or wide, how seemingly perfect or seemingly a mess. All of us, we are all made of the same stuff… of the same beauty, stardust and brilliance… the same thoughts-gone-wild, insecurities, societal-pressures, bills and human thrills that like to pull on us and make us feel anything but ok, alright, here and now. Please be kind.
And its simple. Just smile. Send that letter. Tell them you SEE them. Really really seem them. And simply, look them in the eye, for more than 4 seconds, whether you know them or not… because you know everyone… we truly are all one. Please, be kind.
