Hi beautiful trailblazer,
Its late but I had a flash of inspiration and had to share it with you!
Ever have one of those days where you just wake up grateful?
I mean tears-rolling-down-your-face grateful?!
Well, I will admit, today most of my days are like that!
(Yes, sometimes its even hard for me to believe, I know)…
But here’s my raw truth: I was SOOO NOT ALWAYS THAT WAY.
This may come as a shock to those who know me as the oh-so-inspiring Shirly “Joy”….
But for years I battled with excruciatingly painful depression, insecurity and anxiety.
… Socially, I was an awkward wallflower unless I had plenty of wine in me.
… Spiritually, I knew I had a unique gifts in awakening people to their light and power but I shared them with such fearful trepidation, it was exhausting and painful.
… Emotionally and mentally, simply, I was a doubt-filled wreck, comparing myself endlessly to everyone around me and feeling not good enough in any way.
Life, well, sucked.
Yes, my beloveds, this sums up years 11-28 for me. Yikes.
Fast forward a decade later and I’m light years from that place. A few game and life-changing awakenings later, I’ve come to wake up with instant feelings of gratitude. I give thanks for all kinds of things; my cozy bed, amazing family, our beautiful countryside home where my neighbors are horses, hawks and great oaks…
AND in all sincerity,…YOU!
Today, in a moment of quiet reflection, you came to my heart more than usual… and in a moment of stillness, BAM, I was hit with an idea from a bigger Mind that I had to act on immediately (because my faith runs that deep!).
So here I am, following through on being asked to share my raw truth of where I came from and give 3 gifts to you as a show of my gratitude to the universe but mostly because;
“I JUST CAN’T BEAR SEEING SO MANY CHANGE-MAKERS BE HELD BACK BY INSECURITIES OR DRAINED BY THE SEEMING UPS & DOWN

I WENT FROM…
… Secretly withholding and endlessly hiding,
…Constantly doubtful and relentlessly procrastinating
(with the BEST excuses and crises I might add)…
TO FEELING…
… Pretty unstoppable,
… Joyfully flowing and surrendering to the ebbs, flow and will of the Path
… Simply, connected to my endless resilience, clarity and strength which caused me to leap into action and show up,
(even during some of the greatest personal crises that so wanted to throw me off path)
And it was with this transformation AVAILABLE TO US ALL NOW…. that I was guided to offer these three gifts.
The world needs more leaders, yes…
But WHAT THE WORLD REALLY NEEDS IS MORE LEADERS STANDING ON TRUE SOLID (JOYOUS) GROUND!
