Dabbling vs Doing & Mid-Year Review Fears?!

AKA: HOW FEMININE WOMEN CAN LEARN TO LOVE STRUCTURE AND PLAN

WARNING: Sugar coating to make you feel good (yet still stuck) is not about to happen!
 
Alright sisters,
If you are anything like I used to be… (READ: SELF-PROCLAIMED GO WITH THE FLOW, FEMININE PRIESTESS WHO RESISTED ALL THINGS STRUCTURE OR PLANNING RELATED)… you likely RARELY take the time to do daily/weekly/monthly planning, much less mid-year reviews!
 
And so its very likely that July came and went and you didn’t look back at the past 6 months.
…. you’re just still fl-flo-flowing.
 
NOW I ADORE FLOWING (feminine force), it is my essence, BUT kept unchecked in healthy balance, that power can quickly become our shadow.
 
Without digressing into a soapbox on how the current state of affairs is in part due to a distorted feminine and masculine, I will instead dive right in and invite all my beautiful intuitive, flow-y women to do this seemingly too masculine, structured task!
 
✨ Because quite frankly, if you don’t, not only will you discover that you’re missing out, but perhaps our world is suffering for it!✨
 
And trust me, after doing it, you will see as I did;
Why did I resist for so long?!
 
You see, NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU DISCOVER YOU HAVE OR HAVEN’T ACHIEVED, doing this review is not a way to feel bad, rather a way to easily become empowered again. 
It is, as you’ll come to see, simply liberating.
 
SO HOW & WHY DO THE 6-MONTH REVIEW?
 
SUPER SIMPLE:
(And you can do this every month, not just mid/end of year)
 
1. Sit down and write down everything you accomplished in the past 6 months (or month)
2. Write down how you did it.
 
That’s it.
 
WHY IS THIS PROCESS SO LIBERATING?
 
1. Forces you to celebrate your wins! (Umm… benefit self-explanatory).
 
2. Shows you how much you do know. (If you achieved it, you know how to do it. And now you know what to continue doing again and again that works.)
 
3. Shows you if your actions/results aren’t fully aligned with your words. This one may be a bit brutal BUT totally juicy IF YOU’RE A WOMAN ON THE GROWTH PATH NOT INTERESTED IN LIVING A STAGNANT LIFE OF DENIAL….
 
So what do I mean by this specifically?
(and yes, I love you so much I’m not going to sugar coat!)
Here goes…
 
I see too many women who (LIKE I USED TO DO BIG TIME) say and proclaim big ideas and visions they stand for like “I’m going to be a coach or change-maker and make a difference! but their actions/results show a different story:
idea of being the change
AKA: they like the “idea” of being the change, a lot more than actually living it!!!
 
So when the rubber hits the road, they keep themselves endlessly busy with a whole lotta nothing.
 
My dear, if this is you, I still totally and radically love you (and get you, as that was me for years too).

FOR NOW, LETS GET INTO THE SUPER EMPOWERING PART OF THIS PRACTICE…
 
So… if you you look down at your results for the past 6 months AND YOU DISCOVER THEY AREN’T ALIGNED with your intentions, well, it’s time to re-examine!
 
AND THIS IS GOOD, EMPOWERED NEWS because you can at that point EITHER:
 
1) Examine & change your words/intentions (no judgement!)
…. OR ….
2) Examine & change what you’re doing/focusing on.
 
Either way, at least you’re moving forward in a direction eyes wide open….
 
Because continuing to pretend to do something you’re not doing is simply a waste of your genius, your brilliance, your life.
 
AND I’M NOT HERE TO SAY YOU SHOULD BE A CHANGE-MAKER OR COACH…
 
I’m here to urge you to stop living in a fantasy in your head, and actually start living… no matter what that living is… so long as you are living fully, directly, with life to the best you can! ✨✨✨
