I admit it, I was one of those people who studied the secret, the law of attraction and manifestation for years.
I was also one of those people who experienced both miracles happen and frustration on this whole “manifestation” journey… Sometimes the techniques worked, sometimes they didn’t!
And I know I’m not the only one.
Over the years, my perspective on manifestation and these “laws” has completely changed.
I now understand the true nature of life infinitely more deeply and live a very different path of faith, self-love and surrender. (Ironically, this very energy makes my desires come to me more powerfully than any positive intention or declaration does).
FOR THOSE OF YOU ALSO FRUSTRATED WITH MANIFESTATION, Here’s what I know today:
– Desires aren’t wishful possibilities, they are your destiny.
– Our destiny is not something we receive or create, it is something we embody and become. In other words, you WILL experience that destiny, when you BECOME the person who can hold and express it.
– Our free will comes mostly in terms of (a) the quality of our journey (how much we trust and allow ourselves to enjoy OR how much we fear and resist) and (b) how much we allow ourselves to own and unleash the qualities of being that our “future” self has that naturally brings the destiny to us. (NOTE: You are all those traits already, it is only you that is keeping them dormant, hidden and suppressed, and thus your destiny.)
– Reality isn’t created by our thinking, reality is obscured, molded and distorted by our thinking (lower thinking that is). And THAT becomes our experience. And so we are rarely even experiencing reality, rather our lens of it. Change the lens > change your experience > change your reality.
There are several other things I’ve come to learn about life, why we sometimes get our desires and something not and how we can actually feel good now independent of all of that… but I’ll save those for another post.
